Wamogo’s 10th Grade Mobile Application Design class is producing a mobile application called Morquio Fighterz. This app has been developed to incorporate balance in the user’s life and in the lives of those living with Morquio Type B Syndrome. Those that download it will enjoy a fun and entertaining game. As they play, they will become increasingly more aware of the need for funding for medical research for a rare condition, called Morquio Syndrome type B . A person with Morquio Syndrome Type B lacks enough enzymes to break down sugars. These sugars end up building on bones, and destroying them. It is a very serious and debilitating condition. This cause was chosen because one of the students in this class suffers from Morquio Type B and everyone wanted to help.
